Ropefish?

So I was doing research on ropefish, again questioning my stocking for the big ol' 75G that's coming up Really soon!
So now im going towards ropefish... hoping someone can give some advice on them in the description, as in the care level, feeding (what foods) and such like that.
I know there care chemically, as in ph and such. But can I have a planted tank with them? if not a big no no, thinking two in a 75G with a school of tetras? or will they eat them?

I guess you didn't read the post you link to?

Their tank should be heavily planted with lots of rockwork and caves. Ropefish need lots of hiding places
