Rope Fish Not Eating!

try him on a prawn or two, delicately place it right under his nose and see if he lunges at it, mine never refuse prawns.
I realise it may not seem ethical but if your going to freeze endlers you may as well just add them to its tank alive,

Oh by the way are you feeding the reed in the day or at night? Reed fish are really an nocturnal species so feeding them in the evening is often best

i feed him whenever he is active! he moves in the day alot, and at night he does move more that is when i feed him. he always has neons and endlers in his tank never eaten. what kind of prawn? like a frozen shrimp humans eat?

filter is an aquaclear 70. and he is swimming around now. paying no attention to the food

mate, maybe he was fed up before you brought it, what with the move, i would give it a few day's...let it settle in and feel comfortable, then try again with a little blood worm......maybe he eat's when your not watching or after light's out....do you leave the food in there or remove it?

i leave the food in but the blood worms are always eaten by the feeders and jewels.

Best to remove uneaten food with a net, as it can mess your water up and alter water stats.

That good news then.
Don't over feed the bloodworms they can cause bloating if over fed.
