Both.

although in my lobster tank i just have slate to make good caves.

in my crab tank i have a small piece of bogwood on top of everything to make an area of of water.

in my other tank i have a massive chaunk of bogwood on 1 side then 2 bits of slate on the other.

you just have to fiddle aorund to see what you can fit in and what you like

I voted for driftwood because depending on what kind of rock it is it may alter the pH (make it more alkaline) whereas teh driftwood will acidify the water, which is what rams like.

Both looks nice but to be biotopically correct danios should have water flowing fast over rock (no woods) and be at a cooler temp. than rams; who like more acidic water (lots of woods and plants). I do believe that rams do not like as fast of flowing water as danios.
But what ever... :p
