River Water?

ok this is just a question, but i live very near to the river test which is one of the cleanest rivers in the country, do you think it would be a good idea to use for my aquariums or a bad idea?

Just use tap, the parameters will be pretty much the same as your tap water.

Wouldnt touch water from my local river with a barge pole LOL.

Was meant to be one of the cleaner stretches of the river where i live... my old work place, a farm, recently ad problems with animals getting sick and after a lot of testing... and that led on to officials testing the water etc... it was human type salmonella >.<

The stretch of river was actually the same stretch that David Walliams just swam and he got sick after swimming this bit of the river LOL.

You just never know what the paramaters will be, if thre is pollution... or contamination, maybe some creature died just upstream? and so on...
