after a battle to save her i failed to save her too. as some of you know my bettas got though the barrier that divides there tank and attacked each other over the night. i lost jasper that day and on Saturday i lost my oldest betta Rayne.
i got her may 3 0f 2008 just days before my first devastating Betta loss of Livingston. she helped me pull though that despair and focus on her. she survived the trip home from college with out a problem. she was my wal mart betta, i felt sorry for her being picked on in a tank full of female so i took her home. she always greeted me with such happiness, i think she loved me because i loved her. i was hoping we would have more time together but i guess fait had other plans in mind. with her death that now leaves storm my oldest betta.
this is Rayne recently

Oh gosh, I'm so so sorry that something like that happened :( **HUGS**
She was a pretty little thing

oh no :( what a run of bad luck you're having. I guess at least now you can empty the tank and silicon the divider in so that future bettas cannot get through?

for now i am using the non filtered side for the little ones until they get bigger. once they get bigger they will likely get the whole tank. since they are all females i shouldn't have any problems.

I am sorry about your loss, you did all you could. I have lost 4 this week, but on talking to someone in an aquatic shop he has lost two, think it could be the water in our area.

thank you all for your comments, not only about jasper but rayne. between loosing these two fish and a horrible time at work i am emotionally drained right now.
here is to a better week for all of us.
