Gutted, concorde has died, wen't to tank about 30mins ago, light on and noticed a white streak across him and about 20 or so snails on its body, looked alive and i thought odd, on closer inspection the eyes had sunk into the head, dam hes dead.. so i fished him out, theres no visible problems at all, iam putting it down to old age, never knew how old and ive had it a fair few years from 14inch, measured him and from was 19.5inches... never thought he were that big..

he even ate last night and swam around normally, all water stats are fine

when i got him,

Sorry for your loss, sounds like it was his time though :( Wasn't he off colour a few weeks ago too?

Aw man. What a bummer. Not a good way to start out your weekend. I hope you can find another on around some where.

sorry about that, tis a terrible thing.

I do have to ask though, what do you do to dispose of a fish that big?

Ive placed it in the freezer, then bin day he will get his own quality street tin for a top "quality send off to the tip,sad to say but havent got a garden to bury him and no pet cemetarys

Sorry to here about that.. It's always a bummer to lose a fish. He looked like a pretty cool fish. I'm sure he had a good life.

that sucks, please remember to tell her BEFORE she opens the freezer.

i am probably gonna get "gutted" when my gold barbs die, i have had them since i have ever started truly keeping fish, and they only sim up to me only, and when i get home from school they get so excited they have a sort of little twitchy fit which is real amusing.

wow, what size net did you use to gethim/her out?

again, sorry for the loss,at least it was old age and not something you need to worry about

Oh my...what an absolutely beautiful fish. I'm sorry you lost him. :(

Really sorry to hear about your gibby, I have one similar size they are a gorgous fish, are you going to replace him?
