I know what you got coming!!!!

I managed to get sleep both times, key is to volunteer for the last feed of the night before you go to bed, then its not your turn at 3 o clock in the morning

With my youngest one, the missus called me home from a football club managers meeting at about 9:00pm, he was born about 2:30 the next morning. By the time I left hospital it was about 5:30am, so I didn't bother going back to bed, as I had to get the other 3 up for school. Having got them all sorted, I then when straight into a Governor's Finance Committee meeting at school. Talk about matchsticks.

Me and the wife had a good system going with him, though, because she used what nature provided to feed him. She'd wake and feed, whilst I kipped, then she'd wake me up, I'd take him off downstairs whilst he screamed for the next hour and she could sleep (he had very bad indigestion problems as a newborn, only lasted about 2/3 weeks, thank gawd). He never had formula milk, went straight from Mummy's to Cow's at the age of 2 - saved us an absolute fortune. :shifty:

Cows at two? My youngest was on full fat by her first birthday, having went off the taste of mothers nectar. Made it safer when making a cuppa when half asleep at stupid o'clock in the morning too. ;)

Since he was still happy with Mummy's, yeah, he converted at age 2. Tell ya what, he's the healthiest of all 4 of 'em, by far. I think he's thrown up (stomach-bug) a grand total of once, and he's four in a couple of weeks.

Hmmm, have we hijacked this thread?

yes, you are worse than women discussing babies and feeding, shame on you!

I have named him Hickdead. But i think the wife will have other ideas, pics when i get home. :|
