I have a large amount of riccia I was given & want to try & do a carpet with it.
Any tips would be helpful on the best way to do it

I used Riccia in an old scape and it made a lovely carpet.

You can use slate and a hairnet, you'll get the same effect.

i want it in a weird shape easier to cut milk crate than slate.

I want shapes too, not a flat carpet.
I'm not very artistic, but will have a go, I have loads of riccia to work with

i do have quite a lot but the stuff not on the slate already has got covered in hair algae (some came with it and its just spread since)
so its picking it out one by one... or, im doing a test to see if liquid carbon kill's off the algae, if it does im in luck =D , if not its waiting for more to grow and chucking the algae ones out

if anyone's got any tips on this i'll be happy to try it =D

im hopeing to cover the left hand side and the right hand side of the tank in my sig with the stuff (hc in the middle)
