i have a community tank with nothing special in it and im growing some riccia i read some wer u need co2 to grow it but my tank seems to be doing fine what the benifit of co2 ?im not wanting to go down that route tho so is there any plants i should stay away from cheers ryan

If you need to grow Riccia submerged then you will need to inject CO2. If you just want it floating, you dont need to inject CO2.

If you dont want to go the route of CO2 injection then chose plants that require medium to low light and avoid the high light requirement plants as high light anf CO2 injection go hand in hand.

If you can give more details about the tank like lighting, substrate, water etc. you may be able to get more suggestions ;)
