Returning To The Hobby, Tank Recommendations Please.

Hey there, I'm wanting to set up a small shrimp tank less than 10gal. I'd prefer one of those plug in and play things to get me started just not a cheap tacky one, I can always upgrade to more expensive equipment later on. I'd prefer a cube shape with and open top or something.

My budget is about £50-£60

I'll be planning on having it planted to look as natural as possible. The kit must include a filter, heater and light.

go to your local tip. you can pick up a tank that size for free-£5 then filter, heater and light will cost you max £30

Id like plenty of shrimp and possibly a shoal of neon tetras. How many would I be able to keep? they do a bigger version too which is 35l

You could get plenty of shrimp in there. Say 20-30. Not sure on tetras though, not much swimming space for them.Maybe galaxy danios would be a better choice?
