Yippee !

my Aquamas Co2 kit has arrived :hyper: All I'm waiting for now is the drop checker.

However, how is anyone else with an external reactor fitting it in their cabinet ?

Would it be better before the UV or after ?

My Rio 400 cupboard

Any suggestions ?

Hopefully this will transform my algae collection
Peter

The CO2 reactor is designed for the discharge line on your filter.

Dave.

I know Dave, I'm just not sure whether to have it before or after the UV ?
I'm assuming it would be after, as co2 in your uv chamber doesn't sound like a good idea

Have your lights arrived yet, as I'm looking forward to the next part of your journal ?

Everything is ready to go, and my Tropica plants arrived at work today. The only problem is that I am at work until 19:00, and it is my daughter`s 16th birthday today. I may have to put the pots in my 120l tank tonight and plant up tomorrow evening.

I wouldn`t have thought that CO2 going through your steriliser will cause any problems. I haven`t actually used my reactor yet, but I think the water going through the steriliser should be bubble free. If in doubt, put the steriliser before the reactor.

I think I'll take between now and the weekend to think about trying to fit this lot into the cupboard space, and then start asking basic questions again.
I've no idea how to work the pressure eg fitting the reg without letting any co2 out, ideal dial settings etc, changing bubbles per minute, etc etc

Enjoy your daughter's birthday :good: I hope you got her a tank ?
