Restocking Tank

Not to sure if i should do bettas and black neons or some other kind of species with tetras i am trying to do a good thing and keep only 12 inches of fish in my 20 gallon tall and i want ten tetras and one two inch fish or three inch any suggestions? besides bettas?

or better a flounder or aka hogchoker only....

keyhole cichlid

cockatoo cichlid (2f 1m or just 1m)

hey maybe the rams but i already have one that is agressive and cichlids need specialER attention sorry i didn't mention fish that are tropical only sorry i forgot to mention that...

so you have other fish in the tank already besides the tetra? What exactly do you have in the tank?

And what are the dimensions? Length of the tank is important when making recommendations.

well i do already have fish which i am giving away soon then adding a betta if i don't have any choices then several weeks later i will get 3 tetras and later 3 more so that tells you i have four tetras a bolivian ram a pair of rainbows (australian) and a bumblebee cat with a pair of female platies and a pineapple sword. and a chinese algae eater. thats it.

i will take that into consideration but i might get the betta today but now i may not if i can house a hogchoker by itself in a 20 gallon because i feel ready to take one in after days and weeks of research on size care etc.... just an idea but i may be doing an all asian tank if i come across an asian bumblebee cat although i have a south american who ate one of my baby male platys..... he is cool these are all ideas on what category of fish i would like but now if any one knows a smaller species of fresh flounder than let me know..... thanks!
