hi , i want to change my fish stocks but dont know what to do with my current fish? will a LFS take them in?

Some do, some don't; you'll have to ring around and ask.
 
If not, you could advertise them on here, or on Aquarist Classified.

Just out of interest, what kind of fish do you have currently that you want to re-home?
 
Some species are easy to re-home and others may be trickier.
