Rena Smartheater 200 + Add On Filter

Ive just bought a Rena SmartHeater 200w. Ive got a box full of pump filters to choose from separate kind. But now there the option to having a filter xp2 or something joined on to the Rena SmartHeater.

Whats the advantages and disadvantages to both pump filters?
