Is it possible to use the powerhead as a stand alone filter?
What I am thinking is using it for a stand alone filter to put in the corner of the tank in a small cylinder stuffed only with filter floss.
I have taken out the monstrosity that came with the setup and replaced it with an external Eheim Ecco 2234.
The water is not quite crystal clear so would like to add a SMALL internal one to help.
Seems a shame to spend money when there is a £30 powerhead laying about with no use.
