Red's Face Is Looking Pale!

Just been looking at Red close up and his face which is normally black is looking very pale especially under his face. It's not cottony looking like fungus. It just looks like the colour has faded from his face.

There was a lot of messing about in his tank yesterday because the filter broke and wasoff for hours.

He's swimming about as normal. Does anyone have any idea what this can be?

it could be down to stress? have u tried to leave the tank alone for a while and let the fish re establish itself in there? May be worth leaving the light off for a while also.

Thanks mate, I've been reading and like you said they can lose colour from stress and there was a hell of a lot of mucking about in there yesterday. It's all left alone now that the new filter is in. I'll leave the lights off like you suggested.

You did move all the old media to the new filter, right? And water parameters are ok?
