tank:

95L

fish:

1 pleco
1 red tailed shark
6 tiger barbs

Should I re-home the shark?

you say you have
1 pleco
1 red tailed shark
6 tiger barbs
in your signature it says
6 tiger barbs
1 red tailed shark
1 HILL STREAM LOACH

if it is a pleco its that you should re-home (unless its one of the smaller species like the clown plec)
if its a hill stream loach it should be ok, except they like cooler water.

assuming its a hill stream loach, if you was just leaving your tank as it is, with no more additions you would be fine.
is there a reason you would want to re home the rtbs? they are territorial fish, if it is harassing others then maybe, yes you should re-home it.

Dave

not really, a rtbs rarely exceed 5" in aquariums, with the little other stocking he has, there would be no problem. the problem would occur should the rtbs become aggressive, which is a probability as it is in their nature to do so.
i have a juwel 96 litre tank, easily large enough for a rtbs.

Dave

Never mind then. I don't know what I was thinking. For some reason I thought the max size was more like 8 inches. I guess a 5" not hyperactive fish in a 90L should be fine. But as dave said, problems will likely arise with aggression.

Yes agree about the agression issue that will occur upon reaching maturity.

To minimise aggression, recommended min tank size is actually 55 gal

i would tend to agree. opinions vary. from 30 gallons @ 3 feet. to 80 @ 4 feet. either way, 21 and a bit gallons is not big enough except, perhaps, for a juvenile. not only aggression, but tank jumping could ensue.
