Red Tailed Shark Fins Missing

hi all just come back to fish keeping have brought a aqua one 850 tank second hand it came with 6 fish one was a red tailed shark he has not much of a top fin and no fin on the left he swims ok but will the fins grow back ? he seems healthy enough gets around the tank fine thanks for reading

Ahhh my Serpae tetras used to rip up my other fish so maybe its them.

They are the pinkish redish ones usually with a black mark or line down where their gills are. How many do you have? If you have less that, say, 5, they tend to get bored and start nipping fins. They killed a fair few of my neons until i was able to rehouse them.

Yeah, Most pet shops will take fish. As they arnt really happy on their own and will rip into other fish, so its best both ways.
