Red Tailed, And Rainbow Shark: Can I Keep Them Together?

No, RTBS and rainbow sharks will end up killing each other once mature if kept in the same tank together. Some people will tell you that you can get away with keeping a large group of sharks to minnimize the aggression towards a single individual by splitting the attention of each fish - same sort of principle as with over-stocking mbuna cichlids. However, many fish are still likely to get killed in the process and, though I'd be willing to consider this method with rainbows, there is no way RTBS would live like this permanently - they are far too aggressive. You also need to keep in mind that the minnimum tank size for ONE shark is 30 gallons. If you have both at the moment, one realy needs to be re-homed immediately. Also, you don't realy have room in that 10 gallon for any of the fish listed in your signature (well, excep the bristlenoses who could survive for a good while) so I hope you have plans to up-grade before the angels and shark(s) reach maturity (at which point, in that size tank, you'll get a blood bath).

No way. Only one per tank. Not only can you not keep more than one of their species in a tank, you cannot even keep them with similar looking fish - for example a red-tail with a rainbow. The body shape is identical, and that is your downfall.

Never keep these fish with other fish that even LOOK remotely like it. Remember that, and follow that rule, and you'll keep your fish happy and alive.
