My Cool water "barb" tank begins...

Having some smaller fish ( the Mascaras ) seems to make the algae eaters feel more secure… one is working the driftwood, just a little ways away from them

everything is slowly progressing on this tank... the 2 long fin, Green Dragons arrived today...

I bumped up the heater a couple degrees for the plecos, & Cory's... the Torpedo is an interesting fish... looks like a perch or walleye, with a horses mouth... it does work over the sand, if there is food on the bottom... it seems to like Bug Bites, as this morning it looked like a vacuum cleaner on the sand... I have a couple more mascaras coming, the next size smaller 3 - 3.5 inch, as well as another small group of Spot Tails, & I'd really like to add another torpedo, but still deciding on that... I added a few 1 inch sticks around the filter on one end, specifically for the Spot Tail Algae Eaters, and the Dragons...

I'm glad the Pothos vines, and the couple Philodendrons that were in the tank during sanitation, are coming back... there we some roots that died, but the main roots survived the process... this put everything on hold, in the plants growing, but they have come out of it, & are rapidly growing again...

@WhistlingBadger… your suggestion of panda Garra’s, got me looking, as I already have pandas in my Hillstream tank, I wondered what others there were… yep, the ugly little “doctor fish”, is common, but there are actually 9-10 different varieties… these guys look a little freaky, but kind of cool
