Red Tail Black Shark

i've got a red tail black shark with some piranhas right now. and he's just chasing them all over the place so i'm goign to put him in an empty 29gal tank that i have. but would obviously like some tank mates. and i'm just curious what fish can put up with him and that would look good. i want fish that are mid or top swimming. my ph is quite high and the water is hard too. and i dont' want fish that i will have to get a bigger tank for later. i might stick in an albino bristlenose or 2 with him also. oh.. btw the shark is already full grown at 4 inches or so.

after a bit of reading here... which i guess i should have done before. lol. 29 gals is pushing it for a red tail black shark. so instead i'd like to get some fish in the 29gal anyways. not the shark. so what would be a nice mix of fish to have in there.

Is the RTBS safe in a tank of Piranhas? I thought you couldn't mix them with any other fish.

so far the red tail does most of the chasing. but every once in a while they get fed up and chase him around a bit. in the beginning there was a bit of fin nipped. but it wasn't solely on the shark. the piranhas had it too. but not everyone has pretty much healed up and don't seem to be fin nipping anymore. just don't like the territorialness ( if that's a word) of the shark)
