What?! Snakeheads are illegal in Canada? They're tropical! There's no way they could survive here! Damn, and to think I wanted one...damn government...I guess that shows how stupid they are (well, partially), banning a tropical fish in a cold-weather climate.

Not all snakeheads are tropical...The northern snakefish is living in Maryland and New York! Thats like 10* degree weather there. And also for your info. feeding live fish to other fish is illegal in the UK.

yeah live fish are not allowed to be fed to other fish, but most people still do it. You are allowed to buy river shrimp and feed your fish them so thats another option.

Yeah, my LFS do it, they feed their oddballs live feeder fish and often order in extra for me. Some fish such as leaf fish you just cant get to eat anything but live prey.

They dont support dyed fish and their supplier couldnt fulfill an order so gave them 300 dyed fish to make up the order so the lfs used them to feed some of the fish.
