Hi, I was in my lfs today and saw Red parrot fish for the first time and liked it as it followed me around as i walked by his tank. I was just wondering what size tank is needed for this fish and also what other fish could go in with it as i've currently got a feather fin syno and a clown plec aswell as 4 corys.

This is the tank i have: (180 UK Litres, 47 US Gallons)

You'd need at least a 55 gallon for one, and good tankmates would be things like oscars, severums, other parrots, JDs, some plecs, etc. They can go with pretty much any fish that doesn't have long fins, isn't bite-sized, and can fend for itself. They're moderately aggressive, and if you were going to house one with any other similarly-sized midwater or surface-dwelling fish, I'd suggest going for a tank around 75 gallons or more.
