Red Lined Scissortail Barbs

has anyone got these fish, i got them four months ago was told that they were new to the captivity scene so as impulse i brought them, i know i should have researched them first

i must say that they are so placid and swim at great speed round my tank but i'm looking for more infomation on them, the little i've found on the web is that they have never been bred in captivity and its so hard to sex them. and very rare to find...................ANYONE!

Scissortails are rasbora not barbs. Are you sure you dont mean red line torpedo barbs aka denison barbs?

Sounds like you've got them muddled up together (or your LFS has)
