hi, i have a male red honey gourami (sold as red honey dwarf, but i dunno if that's right?) who i have had since either before or after christmas, can't quite remember and can't find the receipt 
he did come with a female but she died a couple months after we got them. we added 3 more red honey's in may (think it was) to give him some company, as he was always hiding.
last week, maybe the week before, this lump/bump started to appear on his right side. the last couple of days it has gotten worse, and tonight i have taken a picture of him, and his scales are now sticking out, and a lump seems to be appearing on his left side too.
hope the picture works and is okay, was the best i could get!
he doesn't seem to be ill affected, he's still eating and swimming about as normal.
my dad said this is a problem in gouramis but i've never heard of it. any ideas what is wrong with the poor guy?
