i have a group of red eye tetra in my tank, and i noticed today one of them has something wrong with his eye. the actual eye is still in the socket, in the right place, but it looks like hes got an air bubble formed over it.
other than that hes fine, eating and swimming normally, not getting chased because hes deformed or anything. i dont know what popeye looks like, but it is definitely looking like something on his eye as oppose to something wrong with the actual eye.
all my stats are normal, done a water change yesterday. i have a group of 5 that sometimes chase eachother, but generally they are peaceful to eachother. none of my other fish have the same symptoms. im not overly concerned to be honest, as he seems to be getting on fine, my biggest concern is of whatever it is spreading, but to my untrained eye it doesnt look like the sort of thing that would spread to other fish.
