Hmmm, I see you have an empty 120g sitting there...

the 120's promised to the fronts already , that's their tank , I'm just undecided as to where it should go so I'm hesitant to set it up

I would love to have the red devil in a large tank by himself though

oceanic had a factory "second" sale this week and a friend of mine went, I couldn't make it since I had family from NY visiting but....she got a great deal on some 75's (50 bucks!), I may take one off her hands & set it up

Thats a really great deal on a 75! I *wish* I could find one at that price. The closest thing I've seen in a month or more was an 80g with everything but they wanted $300 for it. Definately can't do that right now!

SMB, you're right! I know that Gorgeous will eventually be the baddest in the tank.
Eventually he will be on his own until we take him back to the LFS.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Had lots of family trauma going on. You know, the hairy bad stuff. Hopefully things will smooth out for a while. God knows my nerves could use the break! Good to chat with ya!

Wow, like missy said, that's a great price! A RD would fit nicely in a 75g too. Keep us updated on it and pics if possible.

It is a fantastic deal, but I'd still need a stand etc,etc, well you know how it goes ,cha-ching

I'm still kicking myself for not getting up that morning and going with her. She got an awesome ballast (sp?) that holds three light bulbs 36" for $10....$10.00!!!!!!! and a 50 gallon cube for $20 ,the list goes on & on

Thats my opinion and hes the worst fish I had. I do have some africans in seperate tanks but they aren't that aggressive to me. IMO oscars have the most personality.

I have a red devil, He has killed everything Ive put in the tank?I wished I could send him to you. He bites He bit me the other day when I was cleaning his tank and made me bleed.

reading this thread is making me reconsider the tanks for my study, I am going to commit one tank to my GT but the other is up in the air now I was thinking discus but now it is down to P. Dovii, or a RD.

My lfs still has that red devil,they told me I could have him for 30 bucks,I'm highly considering doing a major overhaul and a LOT of "trading places" so that I can fit him somewhere

my study could handle a big tank though I am going to add a heat duct to it since it is in the basement and the air temp usually stays around 50 degrees. and the floor is concrete

If you got a 250g you could breed them or get a 300g+ and get an umbi!
