Red Devil Fry

I got some red-devil off a friend to grow on, the parents are the usual lovely orange type colour's and my fry all like this.

Can anyone tell me when or if they will change colour???

Also, one of the fry and ONLY one is YELLOW!!! Whats that about, anyone know??? cheers

Did the fry come with the parents or have they had them since your got the parents? Or did he give you just the fry? Cause those don't look like Red Devils, they look like convicts

They should start getting some colour on them at around 3 - 4 inch mark. Not all will turn out orange. Some will turn yellow, some might be white and some will be a mix.

Nearly all cichlids look the same when young so dont worry Lol.

Also to note is that sometime they can go through two colour phases, starting out orange then turning mixed or it might be the other way round.
