so a few months ago i had this little pair of red claw crabs one of them i found like this and the other one i found a day later dead on his back.
what happened with the girl? she had her shell popped of her back and eyes and it was just kinda chillin on top of all this flabby lookin stuff they had a place to get air is this what they look like when they moult? i thought it would be like with crawdads how they look the same theyre exoskeleton just has to harden. idk its to late to save them obviously but i was really tripped out by it it reminded me of that crab from spongebob when he moulted and lookd like a blob of fat, maybe its because theyre brackish and i didnt have enough salt?
