Red Algae

Who, the pleco? I feed him everyother day with one algae wafer. If I go any longer than that he seems to prey on the black tetras like chasing them or he goes nuts and flys all over the tank never seeming to stop moving and he climbs onto the output of the filter looking for food. I know this because it happened this past saturday when I skipped a day on feeding him because I got new fish and I like to feed him with the light on so the other fish won't get at it.

sorry don't have a digital camera or phone with a camera.

So sorry no digital camera whatso ever.
Also just looked at the tank and it appears he is going on the plants that have this algae on it, not sure if he's eating it because if I go over their he will run away.
