Morning everyone.

So, I've just done a lot of planting and now find I have a moderate assortment of the plastic plant pots, ceramic weights and root wool. I feel like these should be recycled rather than go to landfill.

I googled rockwool and now feel a bit sad as I assumed it was biodegradable and its not.

Are there ways of recycling ie do any of you give the pots back to retailers?
Can I use the ceramic rings as filter biomedia in a mesh bag?

Or do I have to acept it, suck it up and think more about how and where i get plants from if I want to reduce waste?

Most garden centers and nursery’s will happily take the plastic pots back for reuse.

Everything I found says that rockwool is non-biodegradable.

wow. I do mean these.... Im too lazy to sell though....Maybe if I accumulate enough
Things like that won’t give you much money unless you sell in bulk. But to sell in bulk, means you need to have bulk...

Usually people looking for these pots want to make their sale of plants look professional. (Weather at an LFS or somewhere else)
