This has almost certainly been said before, but I found out about a (UK) online aquarium plant store from this forum, liked the prices that I saw so I thought I'd give them a go.
I ordered one the of the economy collections which made up of all the leftover plants at the end of the week. It cost me just £16 including shipping.
The plants arrived today, packed in individual heat sealed pockets, in immaculate condition with no less than 160 plants in 30 different species, most of them with large roots systems. Also included was 12 plant weights .. all for £16 !!
If I bought the same from my LFS, each plant would cost me £3 to £5.
I cannot believe how good these prices are!
