I'm stuck trying to source two main points of info. Firstly, are they shrimp safe? While I know that this term is used loosely and a lot depends on your tank layout/hiding places I'm asking because I've had tetras in the past (diamonds) which would stalk my inverts relentlessly while other tetras which were much larger (aries/congo) which never payed the same inverts any attention whatsoever? Secondly, size. Online sources tend to give very low estimates of adult sizes when it comes to tetras so for those that have kept them what do they grow to roughly?

Thanks a bunch

They do tend to be a bit nippy but they're more temperamental compared to skirt tetras or congo tetras. Just make sure your shrimps are bigger than the tetras' mouth.

They normally grow between 2.75 inches up to 3.5 inches. Females are bigger than males and there is a reported 4-inch female in the past.
