Really Murky Water?

[Genesis]

I just added a substrate to aid plant growth and then added sand on top, my water is a really murky brown.
How long should it take for the murkiness to settle and clear? as my angelfish and RTBS are in buckets waiting to be re-released
All my other fish are in a 60 Litre with some endlers.

Would it be harmful to my Angel & my RTBS if I put them in the tank with the murky water?
In a natural river environment would they be used to lots of floating plant matter/sand?

No longer a problem, my water cleared and the fish are back, safe and sound
