Real Driftwood

I went on vacation, gathered some driftwood off the beach in Florida and brought it back to Ohio with me. I then proceded to soak it in bleach. I then realized the bleach will kill my fishs, so I'm now soaking the wood in a mixture of water conditioner and well, water. Will this be safe for my fish?

Ahhhh that was a mistake, y bleach
I am going to say if I had of made that mistake I would consider soaking it for a week in a part water part vinegar solution. And the a good week or 2 of soaking in boiling water.
But don't quote me on that, just my initial idea.

hmmmmmmmm. I wouldn't use it. There is a good chance that some of the bleach was absorbed into the wood and may leak into your tank over time.It is a risk I would not be willing to take.
