Real 'black' Gravel

about to reset my tank up and trying to source some gravel
 
any black gravel i've purchased before tends to look black in the packaging but once in the tank seems to be a faded dark brown'ish colour rather than black
 
just wondering are there any recommended brands of gravel whereby it is actually like a jet black?

I have black gravel in two of my tanks that was purchased from petsmart and it looks as black in the water as it did in the package.
