Hi all, ive now got these things together for my 100 gal tank im setting up for discus. 2kg co2 fire extinguisher, co2 tubing, co2 regulator with solenoid, bubble counter, glass diffuser and non return valve. All bought seperately from e-bay and mostly came from asia, all im waiting on now is an asia to europe plug adaptor for the solenoid and i think im ready to rock and roll. Am i missing anything? Wish me luck on setting this up i hope it works!

Are you sure the solenoid is rated for 230V 50Hz?

Or is the 'adapter' you are getting the correct type 'transformer' adapter?

hi, the solenoid came connected to the regulator and seem's to be a good bit of kit. It is rated at the correct voltage and I made sure I checked this before buying off e-bay. It is all up and running now and i am very happy with the set-up which cost around £100, so whilst im using a 2kg co2 bottle, this should last a while and was much cheaper and much more fun to set up than paying £300 for a ready made set up! Now i am trying to decide how many hour to run the lighting/co2.
