ok i realize that piranhas are not community fish. but i figured i'd try and have 2 common plecos in the tank and see since some people have had luck. the piranhas are only about 2 inches and the plecos are about 3.5 or so. all are young and were added to the tank at the same time. but i came home today to a pleco injured. but the weird part was that it was it's mouth that is gone. and i mean gone. i figured if anything there would be fin nipping to start. but there hasn't been any of that. so i guess my question is.. is there anything else that could have caused a plecos mouth to be removed somehow and what are the odds of it surviving. i imagine pretty much it won't. and as for hardware in the tank i have 2 ac110 filters and a bubble and a sponge filter that's it.
thanks in advance

It will have been eaten, they will eat any part, wont just be fins, shouldnt put anything with them to be honest, usually ends in disaster, sometimes sooner than later and sometimes longer but nearly always ends badly.

i wouldn't wonder what could've made a pleco's mouth disappear with piranhas in the tank.
