Rasbora?

im looking to get 6-7 Rasbora in a few weeks, im just wondering which would be the best ones to get. would be beter if they were small, any sugestions would be great.

Harlequin's are a nice fish, we have 5 of them.

If you want small rasboras the lambchop harlequin Trigonostigma espei is slightly smaller than the usual ones; or there's dwarf emerald rasboras, or celestial pearl danios (well, they used to be a rasbora species!).

Some Rasbora's are really tiny so be careful when choosing tank mates or putting them in with current fish. Just your regualar Harlequins are nice, I have 9 three spot Rasbora's and they are cool little guys, going to get 10 more when I get chance

Mosquito and the 'new' green neon rasboras are lovely too, if they'd be safe!

i was thinking some Harlequins too, well i have got 2 mollys at the momment, and was planing on getting about 6 or 7 of them to join them.

If your tank is big enough get more. I have 20 cherry barbs in my 90L but I think I might be able to fit another 10. They are still afraid of me when I approach and form a shoal... until the food enters the tank! Harlequin rasbora are similar in size and I'm sure you won't regret it. Personally I would favour a "biotope" setup but I don't know what small shoaling fishes that comes from N America...

well my tank is 60liter, so how many you think would fit then?

Depends on how long your tank is... and your filtration... and plants etc. Add 6 at a time and see how things go I guess, but do remember they will grow to 5cm each, plus you don't want to crash your tank by adding too many in a go.
