Rapid Death Of Corys

FYI: Update.

Water quality similar to previous post. The aforementioned cory is now deceased, but I still have a bronze one doing well and have added a pair of peppered corys form a different supplier who are doing fine. The pet shop say they have had no problem with any of their corys, and I believe them. No more deaths since the corys with inflamed gills - the tetras are looking healthy and the swordtail babies are growing nicely. The pet shop I use have offered to replace my lost corys free of charge, so I told them I'd wait a couple of weeks before I got back to them (just to check that nobody else was planning on dying for any reason). Since they get their stock in on a Thursday and I ususally drop in there on a Saturday we figured that it might be a case of two water changes in 48 hours being too much stress for them. But I've always been there on a Saturday/Sunday before with no problems. Oh well, we'll see.... I'm going to pick up my next order on the Thursday when it gets delivered to them in order to 'cut out the middleman' water change and hopefully keep the stress down low.

Thanks for all your help.
