well i went to the lfs today to get some shrimp pellets for my ID sharks and i wa slooking at the tanks and they finally have some rams (blue), and i have a 32 gallon getting ready for a female betta community tank but now i think i want some rams, so the question is, how many could i get away with in a 32 gallon tank, im planning on just having rams, as i am a starter in the chiclid world or will be haven't decided what to do now :S

here's the tank so far:

Well, I'd suggest getting a smaller tank for the rams. They only need 10 gallons to breed, so I'd suggest a 20 for them. You could get two for a thirty five though, and add dither fish (fish to show them that it's safe to come out) such as livebearers and tetras to get them out of hiding.

well if you get a pair that happens to sped they will kill anything that gets near t the eggs ..... but u could easily fit 3 of the same sex i beleave they do like to swim but if your gona tell someone to give alot ofspace for their fish u shouldnt even have urs in tank (they piss me off thoughs ppl)

If that last comment was directed towards me (that's the impression I got), then I was suggesting a smaller tank especially for breeding. If not, then I guess I shouldn't be upset at what was posted by you.

well im not planning on getting them just to breed, if they breed then that's a bonus but it's survival of the fitest in my tanks, what else can go in other then livebearers, im sick of them lol
