Well think about it, 70 x £1 if you seel them to shops, also some shops give you half price so you could end up with £100...

LFS wont buy these at £1 each ur looking more at around 25p maybe 50p for store credit they buy there stock in at stupid prices so they wont give u much more for them than they get them for

I was in my LFS this morning and asked the same very question about prices for store credit for guppies. He said that they get their fish from Singapore and can get them for about 10p. They do however give a little more for store credit but this is more of a token gesture than anything. He advised that if you were going to specifically breed fish to goto store, even on a small scale you will would need to breed fish that they have problems getting, for example he advised me to breed Bristlenose Plecs as they give approx 50p each for these and they will always take them off your hands.

I bought an Aqua Nursery this morning and a selection of male and female guppies as it is my intention to build up store credit to fund my next tank. I have a pretty good relationship with the LFS and they have already started throwing in goodies to help me on my way.
