Raising Container

I might start breeding certain fish soon and I have no more tanks. The parent fish have no problem with the fry but the tank mates most likely will. Are there any large container/net type objects that can be put inside the fish tank (48 gallon) that I can raise the fry in (to about an inch). I have breeder boxes but they are too small. Is there anything bigger than 5x5x5 (inches)?

I would just use a plastic rubbermaid bin and set it up with the bare essentials, heater, filter, maybe gravel. From my experience keeping any fish in a breeder net or similar small encloser for a prolonged period of time has negative effects.

Would I need a heater for it indoors? I am planning to breed bristlenose plecos.
