Rainbows having fry NOW

Does she have any more spots anywhere, or any red streaks on her fins? It could be septicimia....But how are the water params?

And does she usually do this when she's had fry, or is this a one time thing? She may be exhausted from having fry. and just resting. Perhaps turn the lights out, and give her a little while, and see what happnens?

no more spots anywhere.can you test water params when there in cold water (well room temp its really hot) cause when i saw her acting weird with that spot on her i took her out of the main tank and put her in a spair tank incase it was catchable.

Yeah, sure, everything should be the same.

And if she's in cold water, that may be why she looks distressed. Guppies can't take too cold of water...but it doesn't sound too cold. Is this tank filtered?

its got an air pump in thats suppost to suck up leftovers.the water feels just a touch colder than my main tank so its not cold really.

Test the water, though. There could be high nitrites, or ammonia, if the filter doesn't do much. Also, is it cycled?

this tank is always running never had a problem with it before the air pump sucks up quite alot.i'll get the tank tested ASAP but it should be alright cause as i say never had a problem with it before.

Yeah...but it's always a good idea to check. :)

Is she looking any better now, or still the same? If she looks like she is done having fry, it might be a good idea to put her back in the main tank in a breeding net or something...

ok i havent done exactly the thing that you wanted me to do,i'v used a tester kit and its came out yellow, so the waters alright.but its still sticking out its just like a really really fat poo,but she's still fat and she cant have any more of her babies until it comes out.

No, but what are the nitrites, ammonia, and nitrate? That's what I need to know.

She may just be taking a break from having fry, or she may be constipated. Did you try the pea?

ye i tried the pea she ate a bit but doesnt seem to be eating any more

Give her time then. Check back on her in a little while, and see what's going on. And give her time for the pea to go through her system. And can I please get the water params?

oww c**p i cant find the test thing i dont think any pet stores are open on sunday(i'll try to find it if not can i do anythink else).ok cause she's not taking to the pea would it be alright if i tried her with a bit of cucumba?

You can...but that won't make her any less constipated, if she is, I don't think. Just turn out the lights, don't keep looking in on her, and give her a few hours. :)

OK thanx for your help it means alot  hopefully she'll eat some more pea later

Yes. Or the problem will be cleared up. Right now, just let her relax. Then you can see if it's stress, or the high protein, or whatever. :)
