Rainbow Fish

Oh! I missed that it's only a 15 gallon tank. Yeah they need more space than that. Rainbows prefer a long tank to a tall one as they like to swim quite a lot.

I've read some species profiles that state 60 liters is enough, though I would recommend a larger tank than that. I suppose you could get away with it, but it's like having an oscar in a 55 gallon tank. It's just big enough for them to survive, but they won't thrive like they would in a larger enclosure.

Mojo, it depends on the individual fish. It would be hard to say exactly when that would happen, but they should perk right up with the addition of more.

ill just keep a small school then max 5-6 fish
one of the fish is quiet active (male)and other is abit boring (female) and just hovers majority of the time

ive noticed the both go to the surface and hoover, i think this is when they get hungry because they will eat the flake were as when they lower in the water they tend to ignore it lol
