whats the quickest and safest way to cycle people? :hyper: the add and wait method takes up to a month apparntly people

You have already got a current thread discussing this!

I told you at least two methods of cycling a tank quickly in your other thread, Can you not read? . The fastest way of all is to completely fill your new filter with used/cycled media from another fully mature filter. If you know someone with a filter that has enough media to spare to completely fill yours, then ask them for it. If not, you'll have to wait.

Impaitience will get you absolutely nowhere with fishkeeping. It will only lead to fish deaths or suffering.

no my other threa is about everything i need to get my tnak set up euipment etc back on topic

ok if i cycle for two weeks and add a small female betta will take be ok then later in week add more fish and gradually buold up to 7female bettas

you cycle till its done, there is no exact time limit. but yes, one fish a week shouldnt throw the cycle too far, just make sure to bag and rearange the tank before every new arrivel, otherwise the current girls will see her as the outsider and beat her up.

The cycle takes as long as it takes, 2,3,4...........8,9,10 weeks?? Once the ammonia and nitrItes are being converted to 0, adding i would personally put 3 females in, but keep a check on the amm and trItes, doing 30/40% water changes if required. I say add 3 cus of bullying if you only have 2 in there. If the stats are staying stable you can add another couple after a couple of weeks.

on the fishless cycle thing that is pinned says once the ammonia goes down to 0 is 10-12 hours can add a whole stock of fish

It depends on how much A you are adding in those 10-12 hours, it means once the A dispears in that time, the NI should already have risen and droped back down to zero. the pinned topic is pretty in depth.

pretty much if you are adding A LOT of ammonia it might be safe to fully stock, but the cycle may last longer too.

Yep, you are right. I'm just trying to save you any problems as it sounds to me that you probably wont be able to wait??

well because im getting the tank in two weeks then it take around a month to cycle btw if it takes a month to cycle that mean it quite old so able for pandas? or gotta wait month after cycleing ? and i want to get this up and going im so excited bin waiting so long  :hyper:   :shout: :hyper: :hyper:
