so i finally bought myself a tank on ebay: http/cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320569795123&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_500wt_1154 i am going to pick it up this evening, i went to pets at home today and bout myself an 8kg bag of gravel, do you reckon this will be enough?

I reckon it should be enough. Depending on what fish you are keeping it should be fine, as long as you are not looking into Kuhli Loaches or anything that likes to burrow itself.

You might only have a fine layer of gravel, see how it is. Maybe pick another 3kg bag up if needed.

i hope it does! im not sure which fish to get yet, i need to pick up the tank and cycle it first!! was thinking of getting some tetra's not too sure what other fish yet.

Will be fine for 95% of fish. Just cross that bridge when you get to it!
