If you shop about you can pick up a cylinder for 10 or 20 quid.. they are made for the job and I personally am a great believer in "horse's for courses".
A 2kg cylinder will last quite a few months and a refil is £15 at my lfs.

no, everything set up fine - but the connection to the bottle was leaky and therefore the bottle emptied in one afternoon prompting an evacuation of the house.
