No worries mate, i've already text her ;) HAHA!

Seriously mate, you're welcome to it. :good:
ohh text i see how it is ;) :L
thanks but if my mum says no then im sure you'll snap it up

thanks =] (i hope i can convince my mum still ,about the FE or it might be gas pub bottled co2- the fittings universal for the regs though?)

No idea mate, but your mum may think that a co2 bottle for drinks is safer. You can also get a bigger bottle so will last alot longer. There is a thread by Aqua Tom (i believe) in the DIY section of how he secured his. It involves big massive chains etc. lol.

wheres the thread? i'll have a read (link me? <3) cant find it ;p

Fairly sure my FE was faulty, I was going to go down the route of proper bottles, but little point now with no plants to feed it to. Can't see why the threads would be different, but you should definitely check that to be sure :good:

will do =] how was your FE faulty?

Yeah, clearly I was expecting too much for it to be taken in the non-dirty way!

Mike. The kit worked fine right up until I connected that Fe... afterwards... read my old Rio 240 thread to see.

i had a quick read though this..sorry for the loss... sounds like the reg's faulty? ... is that right or was it something else? ... cos i wouldent want to buy a fault one ... ;p

As I said, it worked fine until I had it. It was FishyJake's before mine and he had no problems with it. The Fe I used was one "donated" to me by my parents church after it was retired because it was out of date. The inspector said there was nothing wrong with it but that it couldn't legally be in a public place. However, with that in mind and the fact that the reg was fine prior to that, I am inclined to place the blame on the Fe not the reg.

do you know why it changed from 2-6 bar? ... because if it was on the FE it would be the reg surly? the bar's changed? reg controls that ?
