quick pics - our latest spawn..

we were lucky that our spawns on the go survived us being away for two weeks. thanks to my mom and sister for coming in on a daily basis to feed the kids and all the rest of our bettas as well. we didn't lose a single one thanks to them. just took a couple of "arty" pics of two boys that will definately be halfmoon (if not already). i witnessed the one with longer fins flare and it was full 180. these pics don't show them in absolute full flare but you get the idea.

they are a slow growing winter spawn (wish we got more light in the winter, bettas love it) of around three months. these two boys are from the butterfly spawn, the majority of which have developed into marble for some reason...
